In Touch With the Community
Outside of his corporate work, he continued to volunteer with his local church and other nonprofits like Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network, and CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, a nonprofit management consulting and training organization for nonprofits. In San Mateo County, he has volunteered with school fundraisers, spoken to high school students on career day, coordinated academic tutoring programs, and led a middle school youth group.
Rod’s professional experience has provided him with the tools to analyze and seek solutions to complex problems. His personal experience has instilled in him the importance of quality education for all children and the commitment to serve others.
