Why I'm running

In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, every aspect of how we educate students and prepare them for fulfilling careers has been upended.

We need innovative solutions to support students and their working parents. We need stronger collaboration between parents, schools, and community partners to keep kids actively learning and resilient.

For 14 years I have served with sustained commitment and problem-solving skills to get things done. Now I am leveraging my relationships with county leaders to:

  • Co-lead a public-private taskforce to educate and support students while schools are closed.
  • Make sure our limited funding is being spent effectively.
  • Advocate for a county-wide dashboard to track how well we are educating and protecting the health of ALL our students.

I get results. If you want committed, equity-driven leadership, please support my re-election on November 3rd.
